Jennifer--You do/did know San Diego:

1. Downtown Oceanside has turned into a beach boomtown, with high rise multi-use buildings, new resorts and upscale residential development.

2. Chula Vista has undergone enormous (and very fast) development. With the market collapse, Chula Vista joins other South Bay developments in their real estate struggles.

3. Poway is a luxurious surprise for many.

4. I, too, love Coronado. It is a quaint village that is so close to downtown San Diego, yet feels as if it belongs to another era. Come back to visit and cross the Coronado Bridge!

5. Jennifer, why not come back for a visit to San Diego. I think there are other areas you need to re-discover! Let's meet for lunch.

Roberta - wow, when I lived in San Diego, Oceanside was still a small little unknown area. I worked in Chula Vista when I first moved out there and I cannot imagine how congested it is now with over $200,000 residents!I am not surprised though about Poway, we have some friends that live up there and are pretty well off. When I first visited their "mansion", I was blown away because Poway is much more luxurious than I thought it would be. But I am still partial to Coronado, as I worked out there for a year or so and fell in love with the place. My husband was a pilot in the navy at NAS-North Island before they got rid of the Hooves so we traveled to Coronado daily. The month after we moved they got rid of the toll so we never got to enjoy driving into Coronado with out paying $1. :(

Gena: WOW--and thanks so much! http://www.sandiegopreviews.com has been a major remodel and has a much stronger footing now. Thanks for the encouragement-- and congratulations on the stardom of your http://www.SacramentoRealEstateVoice.com

Most real estate seekers are wanting far more than MLS searches; they want community information, news, demographics, school standings, crime stats and so much more.

Our job continues to grow!
